I think I am improving.
I really can’t tell. Feel better: do a little something. Then collapse, sleep —then start back over feeling a little better.
Still, I have hope. This is gone for a long time and I’m tired of feeling poorly.

Pneumonia is so utterly exhausting. Recovery is not quick

Take however long it takes – the time is yours to get well. Think of it as making up for all those times you (might have) thought of or wished you could take a nap… Don’t push yourself.

I’m glad to hear that you are feeling somewhat better at times. It’s hard to be patient when there are so many things you want (need) to do, but don’t push yourself too hard too soon. Just know that you (and Terry) are in our prayers.

Rest. All the time… Pneumonia is tough to recover from, even if you are young. Be gentle with yourself.
Will be sending you a care package.

Can’t rush healing. Hang in there, do what you can, and just give it time. Lots of time…

Rest is the answer, sleep all you can. That, and Body Armor to drink, Saltine crackers and chicken soup to eat, were what saved us when we were so sick last fall and winter…. thanks to my sis-in-law for getting the stuff for us. Hope you progress to health quickly and uneventfully. Hugs.

Rest and rest some more! Drink lots of water and put your feet up when you can. Sleep when your body says so!

Don’t push too hard. It’s like trying to run a machine on diluted fuel; you’re not getting your full quota of oxygen to keep the fires burning, and *of course* you’re getting exhausted. I’ve had it, it stinks and takes too long but you do eventually get better. Sending love, hugs and a command to rest and let your body repair itself.
