I helped Terry do about an hour’s worth of wood—an hour was about my limit.
In the process of ‘going over’ to do the work
I noticed how beautiful the world is right now.
Just downright lovely! So much so that it makes your eyes, heart, and soul feel like bells are ringing, and songs are singing; the world jangling with joy.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
We are stacking our last cord today. the old saying about wood heating you three times rings true – when you cut it, then when you stack it, and at last, when you burn it.

The rains came in today and knocked off all the leaves. We are heading into winter now. 😦

I’m glad you were able to get out and enjoy the beauty of your farm, even if you were on your way to help with the wood.

The world is beautiful right now. We had snow today. It will be gone tomorrow though.

It’s nasty here right now. Cold, windy, cold with spitting frozen mix

I’m assuming you are staying inside and resting with all that nasty mix and your critters are safely tucked inside away from the fox?

We had rain last week, and lots of wind this week again. A few days ago I noticed how many leaves were in the yard because we hadn’t had so much wind. Normally, the wind blows the leaves out of the yard, but there seems to be plenty now and more falling. You never know.
The scenery on your farm looks GREAT! Thanks for sharing!
