I saw this when I was walking doggo home from our walk this morning. It was a fine drizzle in the air, the sun was shining behind me, and right at the top of the hill, you could see this long bar of rainbow colours. It wasn’t really a rainBOW, it was more a straight line sitting down on the horizon. The violet was right down on the tops of the trees. It lasted just a few minutes and wasn’t very bright, but it was so deep and so unusual, I thought you might like it for your collection.
I do, Kate! Thank you ever so much!
I am the luckiest person — I am gifted rainbows from everywhere and all around the world!
From my heart to your heart,
Oh wow, you rarely see a rainbow that close to the horizon ~ Beautiful! Thanks for sharing it!
It is an amazing gift. I love it!
This is lovely! Thank you Kate!! And Linda – you are right – being gifted rainbows from all over the world is the loveliest thing!
It is the loveliest of thing. I am so pleased!
Charlee: “That rainbow looks like we could almost jump over it!”
Chaplin: “If we could, I wonder if we could visit Dennis on the other side for a while …”
Mom would love to try and jump over it with you.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a straight-line rainbow along the horizon like that.
Me either! A real treat
