Storms, Hay, Sigh — Tuesday, June 20, 2023

We are on the second field

 and it is the largest.

All Alfalfa—1,000 bales give or take.

Two more fields to go.

Rain, rain go away.

I am thankful you care about our area but go around us, please.

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

Linda

  1. We had a quick shower Friday that(5 minutes, very light) run us out of the field, but the sun came out hot and the wind got up. Hour later he was baling and then took it off the fields before the rain came back yesterday to put us out of the fields until next week sometime. It poured yesterday and through the night. We needed it bad though, grateful!

  2. Lulu: “If I were there, I could maybe spin up my propeller tail wags and blow the rain clouds away!”
Chaplin: “Yeah, good luck with that.”
Lulu: “Hey, it might work. My propeller tail spins pretty fast.”

  3. Yeah for getting in the hay before the rain! Good for you!! Thank you so much for the beautiful card…it came at a moment when I needed to know I have friends who care. Tough morning with my Mom and the health care workers not doing their jobs:( Thank you!
