Summer Light—Autumn Light, Thursday, August 15, 2024

The light is changing.  Truly changing.

Summer is starting its migration to the other part of our globe.  The nights are creeping longer and longer; the plants and the soil are beginning to sigh.

The animals are ramping up eating and gathering…

It’s all there, even if the heat is still going strong —

“Live in the sunshine, swim the sea. Drink the wild air.”–Ralph Waldo Emerson

From my world to your heart,

Linda

  1. Java Bean: “Ayyy, I am definitely down for some eating. I just need someone to help with the gathering. Charlee, I hear you’re good at that.”
Charlee: “The last time I did the gathering I got cheated out of the spoils, so you can just find somebody else.”

  2. Neautiful skies you’ve captured! You can see it in the plants in the forest, too. I don’t know if my tomatoes will ripen or stay green…
