On a Wee Walk to See the Moon — Tuesday, August 20, 2024

As the night started wrapping its arms around each and every living thing on our part of the earth

I took a short walk to see if I could photograph the moon.

Then later, much later (sometimes it’s hard to sleep) I went out to try again.

It’s not the best, but our new technology with our cell phones is-well, just short of amazing.

  1. Speaking of cell phone cameras, they are just short of amazing. I can adjust mine to take a 110 megabit picture. The file is rather large, put the detail in the pictures is unbelievable. I wish I had it back when I started taking pictures in the early sixties. What a collection of how it was then I would have now.

How is the haying coming? I see a lot of what I call “Nevada Gold” going down I 80 here in Northern CA from Nevada to dairies in the Central Valley. Huge bales, though. 15 or 20 make a truckload.
