The morning stars were in the sky
Rainbow at the edge of the clouds
Although I was shooting straight into the unfiltered cloud and developed rainbow sunspots, I was hoping you could see the edge of the cloud—
A RAINBOW on Cloud edges!!
It’s called cloud iridescence—-This can happen because of cloud iridescence. It usually occurs in altocumulus, cirrocumulus, lenticular, and cirrus clouds. Iridescent clouds happen because of diffraction – a phenomenon that occurs when small water droplets or small ice crystals scatter the sun’s light.
Here you can read all about it here! SO MUCH FUN!!
Turn your eyes to the sky!
We are so bless, you and I!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
I wouldn’t have seen it if you didn’t tell me to look for it. One more gift from your heart to my world…
