We woke up Sunday morning to smoke—huge masses of smoke
The destructive forest fires from Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah smoke had made its way to us.
This is so, so sad! We need rain. Everywhere! And a cooling down. A rain would cool us down.
I pray for rain in this massive struggle to save our forests, homes, and lands.
Humbly I pray,
Linda

Yes, it’s too bad that some of that rain in Florida, up to North Carolina can’t find it’s way out west. Those areas are saturated. 🙏💕🙏 Another problem adding to these fires are the stands of dead beatle kill – too dry of fuel.

I hope you soon get some rain. I’m just sorry I couldn’t send you some of the rain we had here a couple of weeks ago.

I’ll say amen to that. Everything here is dry and brown, but windy too so they can’t do fuel reduction burns to create safety for farms, roads and communities. We had 15 minutes of rain last night – I was jubilant, because the rain radar looked so hopeful, but it was all dry thunderstorms and massive lightning strikes.
