We had to do some pruning of the apricot trees so I saved the branches to brighten the sidewalk.
Then I looked into the sky and saw the blooms on the cottonwood tree—oh, the joy of Spring.
Yutori (Japanese) — Intentionally slowing down to simply be, breathe, listen, and appreciate the beauty of nature and life.
Consciously creating space to relax, reflect, and integrate rather than being constantly busy or rushed.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda

Lulu: “Those are beautiful flowers on the branches you saved!”
Java Bean: “Ayyy, I think we could all use a little more of that Yutori these days …”

Sorry you lost some branches on the apricot tree. Can you root them to start more?

Poor tree. It didn’t have the sense to wait a little till all frost danger was past…

It’s a rare year to get apricots because they bloom too early
