The sun lingers longer and longer
The two alfalfa fields are brimming with the color green
The air is heavy with the scent of warmth, the sound of birds, and
Terry and I are brimming with enthusiastic energy.
Supposed to be 80* today— I AM READY!

Your alfalfa fields are beautiful. When I was a girl, I loved walking in the alfalfa fields that the dairy cows were in. (My chore was to herd the cows to the barn in the morning and late afternoon.)

I always love our time of milking. We stopped when we got old. So no cows here to milk now. 🙂

(Like so much of what you share) I Love this post!!
and “Sophrosyne” – a new word to me, and a perfect description of what I see in the non-humans as they rest, contently looking at the world around them… and in those of us, who relish nature and are happy just to feel the sunshine. xox
