Home where the wild things dance just beyond our senses
Yet, if I’m very careful
Not making a sound, I can [sometimes] be gifted
With a wee glimpse of some of the wild things.
Confine (Kuh-meh-vin) welsh
A place where one feels he/she ought to live and belong, where nature embraces and offers welcome
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda

Loved this! I know I belong back in nature, Praying God helps us get back there! Loved the beautiful photos of your Colorado paradise! Hope you are getting some of the rain we are right now

We rarely have bears. Although if itβs too dry on the plateau they will come down to fatten up.

I live where I feel I ought to live. I haven’t left in 4 years. Greetings from the San Luis Valley.

Lulu: “Is that a coyote? I think that’s a coyote. A nice fluffy one!”
Java Bean: “Ayyy, we had two older coyotes here the other day eating loquats off the tree outside the fence. We wanted to bark at them, but Mama and Dada made us go inside and leave them alone instead. Humans are weird.”
Chaplin: “You sure do have some fancy chickens there!”
