All our snow is gone. Even those places where the sun doesn’t shine.
Of an evening, we often get a cold wind that flips your hair all around, but in the morning, it’s gone.
Our sun is warming the Earth more and more. The afternoon’s getting up to 63* or even better.
It’s a tad scary — we need water. Which means we need snow. They are saying two storms are heading into our mountain ranges. We sure hope so.
We sure hope so.
Your friend on a Western Colorado farm,
Linda

sure hope that the storms produce some snow! In town we have snow but not out in the fields.

Hope the western slope gets a good amount of snow. Everyday I walk I think the grass barriers can’t get any drier. Just brown and crispy.

Java Bean: “Ayyy, we just got some good rain yesterday ― hopefully it is headed your way next. If I could, I would go jump and slap my paws on its backside to hurry it along the way I do to Dada when he is bringing our food around!”

I know. It’s got to impact farming & ranching water availability. Even any water cities will get. Storage has to be low. No one in MSM is talking about it. Scary. They just showed a pix of Mt Princeton hot springs over by Buena Vista – NO snow. Makes me want to load up the car now & put a bunch of stuff in storage – which we don’t have. I can only do so much, but fire season is gonna be scary. State & Feds should shut down the mountains now, cuz people are gonna people… and our mountains & wild life will suffer. Take care.

I understand how you feel. We are in a severe drought in our county — and it’s only February!
