I’m adjusting.
Sorta.
Mom is still MY Mom. Although she does seem to love and pet on that other cat.
She still picks me up, kisses me all over my face, brushes my fur, and has me sleep RIGHT BY HER!!! (And Boo Berry)
Dad seems to be Hobbs’ (Hobbie Hobbs is what Mom calls him) favorite. Hobbs sleeps right next to Dad.
Sometimes Hobbs and I rub noses.
I guess we are adjusting.
TLC

Well, nose rubs are a GREAT sign of adjusting – as long as the rubbing doesn’t turn to bitey-face!
Sloppy kisses,
Delilah

I am glad you are adjusting. You are Mom’s favorite, I can tell. And that’s ok. Mr. Hobbs needed a home, and landed with you. It’s difficult to share, but you are and that is so wonderful. Keep up the good work, TLC ~ you are an awesome kitty!

I know it’s hard, TLC, when a new member comes along in the family and changes things up. But I’m proud of you for being able to make adjustments.

Chaplin: “Hobbs! Is somebody going to paint you like one of their French boys? Anyway, TLC Cai-Cai, don’t worry; the humans have got plenty of attention to go around. I spent lots of time on my Mama’s lap even though Oona is the one who crawls into bed to sleep next to her.”
Oona: “Oona is smol and has short fur. She needs to get under the blankets with Mama to stay warm at night.”
Java Bean: “Sí, and I sleep cuddled up next to Dada even though I am a total Mama’s boy the rest of the time. It’s a security thing.”
