The weather hoomans say more rain is coming in tonight.
Just in time for Halloween.
Also in time for the time to fall backwards.
(We didn’t know time could fall, but Mom and Dad have been talking about it.)
I don’t know why anyone worries. We get up when we want, and go to sleep when we want.
Yep.
Let the time fall.
Now rain —- that is another thing.
We ALL find it a tad hard to do ‘stuff’ in the rain!

I’ve been helping Mom.
We’ve got in all the farm stuff that needed to be put away for the winter
I helped Mom bring in loads of firewood
And to feed our beautiful Black Cat, Black Satin
Then Mom mowed the lawn; once done with that, she told me we wait now until it’s time to get rid of the leaves
I showed Mom a heart in the leaves!!!
Guess what — She said that was WONDERFUL!
I did check out the news while helping.
The deer still come into the yard — about 6 of them, I think
We have lots and lots of raccoons…about 8 of them
No wild cats — TLC and Hobbie won’t let them come into the farmyard.
The skunks have gone to the Upper End.

Our world is wet!
It’s been wet
For exactly
FOREVER!
Mom says don’t embellish, TLC.
But, really, it seems like it’s been raining forever! Right, Mom?
Because when you do decide to come in, it’s really nice, isn’t it?
Well, yes, I muttered. I suppose so.

THREE DAYS!!
And just as many nights!
Mom and Dad were delighted.
The cats and I not so much!
Trying to get news. Or finding a dry spot to do my business. Hard!
But now the rains have left for a spell and dry has come back!
No more padding through mud, or tall wet grass!
No more staying in the house ONLY!
Off Mom and I go, cause, THERE IS STUFF TO SEE OUT THERE!

It started raining!
On Wednesday evening, all day Thursday, into the night, Rain!
(THE HEAT LEFT!!! Mom says Dad was right it WAS a sundog!)
Since I love to go outside (my is right; in my former life, I NEVER got to go outside. Now I can go and come and go. Heaven), I got a tad wet.
And a bit cold.
Oh, well, there is always a warm blanket in the house, just waiting for me.

Well, I have several jobs, but the biggest and best — is barking the Amazon truck into the yard.
Or the UPS Truck.
Or the FedEx Truck.
Or the Mail Lady.
The Ditch Rider.
OR ANYONE OR ANYTHING THAT COMES INTO THE FARM YARD!!!
