Hi Linda, I’d just like to note that I love the blog. I’m in New England, and have only passed through your part of the country. It’s a window on another part of the world for me.
I love the adventures of the animals, and occasionally find something ( like haying) that rings a chime in my personal memory.
But irrigation and how you do it? I’d forever be ignorant if you didn’t describe it and give photos!
Have a great spring, and I hope you fet enough water! We’re i a drought here in Massachusetts.
So nice to see you. Type in irrigation in the search box. I did a big post a few years back. If that does not work email me and I will see what I can do. π
Around here spring started out unseasonably warm and the n plunged, and I do mean plunged to about 29 in the middle of April which is exceptionally unusual. A market farmer not too far from me has been covering early crops.
The only thing doing well in my garden is the kale and spinach.
Charlee: “Those are very pretty crystal hearts! And now our Dada is over here singing some old Phil Collins song about them, because he is stuck in the 80s I guess.” Chaplin: “Somebody make him stop!”

Yes! April around here is traditionally a soaking month, but evidently not any longer.

We had a spring like that also. The fruit trees bloomed and then we fell to 22*. They tried to save them with all sorts of methods but it all failed

Also, possibly type Step one, then step two—etc. That might work better.
