The Grass hay is looking just as lush as the alfalfa hay!
Oh! the JOY!

It’s terribly cold and rainy here with nasty wind and a sharp chill in the air
The Lilacs are blooming, finally. Although, the wind is too sharp and strong to get any photos of their glory
The old-timers…folks older than myself (LAUGH OUT LOUD), since I am 70 now…
Say all the signs are pointing to a cold and wet summer.
Possibly that is true
Only time will tell.
Still, I marvel at the beauty all around me and give Thanks for the gifts that God has given to us.
From my heart to your world,
Linda
The moon, that beautiful wonderful moon, has been just stunning the last couple of nights.
As we come in from setting the water for the last time of the day, the moon stands clear and full shinning it’s light so white and pure
Gradually the clouds start filling the sky…frosting the moon’s light
By the time the moon starts to set the clouds are growing thicker
Still the moon’s light spreads a wee glow within the clouds
Until completely covered and blurred to our eyes.
The music of the moon sings loud and clear…like a voice in the dark.
Like a dream.
From my world to your heart,
Linda
“For lack of attention a thousand forms of loveliness elude us every day.”–Evelyn Underhill
We took a wee trip…a get up at two in the morning, come back way after dark, sorta wee trip.
You see there was this auction, where several items of interest were being sold…
And, of course, most of the things ‘dreamed about’ went way, way over our budget. Â But the next to last row, at the very end of the day (5:30) the (almost) last item in that row, was purchased for a decent price. Â Once loaded up we headed back home.
Driving in the magic of storms, the fading light, the enchantment of a good buy surrounding us all the way.

Terry is planting corn today. This will be a several day activity, as corn is our major crop. Â Still it isn’t our only crop, we also have alfalfa and pinto beans.
This is the workhorse tractor on the farm. Â Anyway, see all that lovely moisture coming up as he plants? Â The ground is perfect to start the little corn seeds sprouting and growing.
How do you like his welding table? Â Part of a motor, tee hee.
Anyway today I’m dancing a happy jig–I only have to go down and feed and love on the kitty down there, she doesn’t want to come live here, so the renters and I agreed she could stay in the old chicken house. Â She is around 7 years old or so and loves that house. Â I think she has had enough stress in her life…it looks like one eye is blind. Â Sigh! Â I will take her in and have my vet check her over. Â Hopefully everything will work out for all concerned.
The sun was amazing, it looks like we can even see the flames on the sun in this photo.
Off now to do MY STUFF!!! Mow the lawn and clean my car! Â Yippee YAY!
