I like being out on the farm. I like to ride the four-wheeler out, Boo and I. Then I turn it off, and we just sit there. All still and calm.
Listening to the small wind in the Rabbit Brush, and the strident calls of crickets.
Gradually, the deer appear, the shadows making them hard to see as they move carefully through the farm, on their way to someplace else.
Once I can’t see them anymore, Boo and I fire up the four-wheeler and head home.
Feeling pleasantly peaceful.
May blessings of peace abound for you, My Friends,
Linda
