For the Love of Shadows—Wednesday, October 25, 2023

Shadows blanket the world in a special silence.

They move in a peculiar way across the land—slowly, slowly, growing large, small, then gone.

I love shadows!

I really do.

The Earth, the Moon, the Sun, and the Sky — Tuesday, October 24, 2023

Although, I dread winter—it is still a significant part of the great flow of energy from the earth

The earth has a beautiful vitality, which flows through it, under it, and around it.

This vibrancy ripples and eddies around us all the time

The seasons come and go quivering in the air,

As the earth’s energy continually vibrates and dances within our souls.  This spark is found in all the plants, animals, rocks, the wind, the water, and the moisture from the sky.

We live, love, and breathe in this energy…wrapping us in cocoons of comfort

This life force of the earth…guides us, shares with us, blesses us.

Helping us live fully and balanced until we pass on.

If we just step out of the shadows and embrace the energy—-if.

From my heart to your world,

Linda

The World Glowing in the Sun’s Setting—Monday, October 23, 2023

Life up your hearts

And sing loudly with the sky!

In a World of Golden Color — Sunday, October 22, 2023

Although it was a warm day, we worked on that massive woodpile—splitting and stacking against the cold and blustery days looming out there.

The Adventures of Boo Berry Betty and TLC Cai-Cai on Friday—-I Wish, Friday, October 20, 2023

There are things I wish I could tell Mom

Like the news on the lawn

Or out on the road

If she just knew

Or…even in her garden

Night visitor of the scary Fox-kind.

But Mom doesn’t understand.

She just doesn’t.

Not Time Yet, But—- Thursday, October 19, 2023

Seems like there is always a fence to repair

This one was at the Upper End by the drain ditch.

Fixed! Several spans of it. From the gate to that tree you see.

All repaired and ready for the cows when they come.

No, the cows won’t be here until after the corn is harvested.  Several more weeks yet.

I Wonder, Wednesday, October 18, 2023

I wonder what it would be like to be inside a cloud

Or even like riding on a cloud—–like Elijah (Elijah the Peacemaker - A Still Small Voice)

Is it pleasant, with a diffused light, or exciting and vibrant like we see from Earth?

Ah! Yes!  I do wonder.

From my world to your heart,

Linda

Here’s my Photo of the Solar Eclipse of October 14, 2023, Tuesday, October 17, 2023

That’s about it for here.  Still, it was rather neat to have the sky, the air, and the earth slightly darken.

Winter is Whispering in the Wind—-Monday, October 16, 2023

It froze last night and

the night before

There are some blooms that have missed the killing frost

Those who succumbed are resting now

Waiting for Spring.

Winter is whispering in the wind…there is snow on the mountains surrounding us

For a few more days, possibly weeks, we will walk in the realm of the dying, the sacred ground of summer past.

From my world to your heart,

Linda

And Now I Present to You the STAR of the FARM —- Sunday, October 15, 2023

TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

The Star of the farm!

Corn!

It’s not dry yet.  When it totally dries down the ear will turn over facing the ground.

Once that happens we wait until the moisture in the corn reaches a certain point–14% or lower.  Then we harvest!
