The weatherman is saying that our rain is leaving…which is okay. It’s time to cut the second cutting of alfalfa. Actually, Terry is out there right now cutting the alfalfa so we really don’t need rain for about a week or so.
Still the rain we had was lovely, delightful, and ever so refreshing
Hope our rain makes it to those of you who need it!
Linda
Gorgeous flowers… They must have loved your rain…. So glad you got some rain —and hope that we get some SOON…. It’s ‘predicted’ but most of the time, the predictions are WRONG…. SO–we’ll just wait and see.
Hugs,
Betsy

We live in an irrigated desert, so we have to wait for the fall for our rains. On the plus side nothing is ever rained out around here.

I am so glad you got rain, and a quick question, how long does it take for your alfalfa to dry? before you bale it? c

The flowers are lovely…. and the other flowers, too. We have had a few sprinkles, nothing to do any good.

I hope the rain stays away until the cutting is completed. Seems that you have sent the darn stuff back here where it is not needed. Pity it didn’t go to Tennessee and the other states that badly require some moisture and cooling relief.

The key in your comment is I hope it quits for week. Then you need more . I hope you get it. We get 2/3 s of our moisture in June .

This was a gorgeous slide show! Loved all the pictures so much! Let me ask you something–you don’t live terribly far from Grand Junction, right? Well, we MAY take a trip to Colorado via Utah some time this fall and go through Grand Junction headed to the Denver area to visit friends. I wonder if we do, if I could let you know and maybe we could meet somewhere?
