We are having 20% chance of rain right now…which is rather nice actually. It isn’t raining here (right here on the farm), but it is raining around us in the mountains. We get to watch the clouds play across the sky then settle down on one of the hillsides and let down a little thirst quenching shower. What it brings to us is the cooling of the day…we’ve been hitting anywhere from 90* to 100*.
I have been looking for rainbows, but there aren’t many yet. I keep looking; they are bound to appear since there IS rain around.

Sounds like a fabulous day in CO…. Hope the rain stays away from you –but hope the cooler temps remain…. Hope also that you saw that rainbow.
Hugs,

Those clouds help a lot. They also help our spirits. Long dry periods can be a real drag.

I do hope it rains for you! It would be great if y’all could have a little break from tending water lines to the fields.

I think our three day monsoon season is over.

Our day was partly cloudy yesterday and it was delightful. Nice temps when the cloud covered the sun. Today we also have some clouds, but with humidity at 23% our 83 temperature seems much higher

We have been having much needed rain here in Florida, over twelve inches when the storm “Debbie” came through and we just has about four inches and looks like more to come. We are so thankful, our water table is really low and we are having lots os sink holes since the sand is so dr deep down.

The sand is so dry deep down, I mean.

I love those photos through the corn. You are so darned creative! Still dry here, I was just telling Mom I don’t think here at the house we’ve seen measurable rain now for almost 6 weeks. Okay maybe 4 but seems like 6. Fires and smoke is what we are seeing. Keeping blanket flower seed heads for you when they are done as promised! 🙂
