It is funny to think with your heading that Julie Andrews in the great and panoramic musical, “The Sound of Music” would be clambering over those hills as shown and not that far from the ski fields of Aspen, more Salzburg like. Still Salzburg is Salzburg and Colorado which has such diverse areas are not the same. Anyhow why be the same??? Colorado is Colorado and Salzburg is Austrian.
Please readers do note: Australia is not Austria. We are flat here, in Austria (Europe) it is mountainous. Even at the present UN “Talkfest” in New York, someone stuffed up, where the Australian delegation was to sit was labelled “Austria”. I am sure neither country was amused.
Yes, Linda your photos are great – it is Colorado – not Austria or Australia. We all have our own beloved landscapes, which we are proud of.
