The Adventures of Boomer on Friday—Nothing Much to Do

Mom and Dad sure have been busy.  So busy I haven’t got anything to do.

Sure has been boring.

LB

I tried following Mom while planting sweet corn, but it was just WAY too hot.

Panting down the rows is well…Boring!

Sam-on-the

Sam didn’t want to do anything but lay on the outside furniture and sleep.

That’s boring.

Mom got out the brush and comb and gave me a good going over…there was a pile of fur when she was done.  The sitting still was—well, boring.

Smile

But having all the fur off —Great!

Gosh…(sigh)…there is nothing fun to do.  Nothing!

Huh!?

Wait!?  What do I hear?

Bark

YES!!

Trucks

THE FEDEX MAN!  YIPPEE!

Mom

Now That was FUN!

    • I think you are seeing thing, One Fly. Can’t be true. (Mom has me on some horrid food program, we don’t say die-et—but the food sucks) So I’m sure the camera lied.

  1. Boomer, here in northern CA when we get deliveries to our place we always get a treat. The guys are really nice. My day was not so boring. Went to the Vet and got two shots. Though, I do like the people at the vet’s office. It’s Rodeo week-end here. I don’t get to go. Supposed to be in the 80’s. Last year the folks froze! Hope today is not so boring. Your Aussie friend Mischief.

    • Everyone gives us treats here, but the UPS GUY! He told Mom he HATE beagles. Can you believe that…he always yells as me, which makes me growl. Mom stands between me and the UPS guy. All the other ones I get to go first and get my treat!

  2. I’ve been barking my heart out for 3 days now. Long weekend and people in our holiday apartments. Mom says she going to have my bark removed. I’ll read your post to her so she can know that this is what dogs enjoy to do – woof! woof!

  3. You have just inspired me to write about what my dog must be feeling / thinking. I love your blog! I’m in Austin, Texas, so it is very urban (and we have a small space) but I’m sure my pet Alex enjoys the dog park a lot!
