that’s crag crest on the horizon, upper left. this (verrrry recent, today! in fact) scene is … either delta or cedaredge? it be muggy/moist/muddee here. we might NOT be able to go on a dog-sojourn in the desert today.
and … mem. day was very important to my dad and grand-dad — both u.s. military veterans (you may not believe this, grandad (“the colonel”) was in the Cavalry!)

We watched the Natiional Memorial Concert on PBS last night. Wonderful music and many stories shared. We must never forget the cost of our freedom! Many of our school children know they have this holiday and truly don’t realize what it is all about. Love your pic of our flag. We fly the flag everyday. Great song (we got to see Johnny Cash in concert many years ago.) Many of our family members were in the armed forces. DH in the Navy and our grandson is in the Army. Thank you Linda, have a wonderful weekend with your family. Know you will smile, we are planting our small corn patch today.
