Dad and Mom are stopped on harvesting the corn.

It snowing!
SNOWING!
But Dad says: “At least we got two fields done! Only one more field to go, we can handle this small wait.”
So we wait.
That works for me…toasting my feet by the fire!

Snow? Oh no! You can help your mom and dad wait by keeping them amused. Maybe you can go out and look at those sandhill cranes that your mom told me about. I think you are all so lucky to have that many of them coming to visit you!! I thought they would all be down here where it is warm by now!

Oh, yes! This is the worst year in all the 48 years we have been harvesting. And Terry says its the worst year in all the 60 years he has been farming (for us or with his Dad growing up.)
