How fast time flows. Sometimes I just amazed at how fast twenty years fly by.
Sometimes I wonder if somewhere along the way I stepped through a ley line. (A line of magnetic force) and zapped myself from there into here.
I still feel young. I still feel like maybe I’m 30-35 years of age.
But when I stop and think about it…I have lived all those years, I made the wear and tear on my body, although my soul doesn’t know it.
My mind and my memories know. Twenty years have flown, or thirty years or even more…depending on where my memories land.
Although time has gone fast, I must admit each moment is exquisite–in pain or happiness.
Each moment has made us who we are; who you are and who I am.
And THAT, my friends, is a very good thing.
Love,
Linda

Every every moment is important—but we don’t or won’t realize that ’til later. Our Holly hocks and red hot pokers are just budding—hmmmmm….

It IS a good thing Linda and you express it so beautifully. (I usually say, prosaically, that it is hard to see how our children could be older than I feel … whenever one of them has a birthday, it absolutely amazes me!)

I was so exhausted yesterday I couldn’t finish reading this short and wonderful post. Saving it till I could hold it and treasure the words and photos. I love the thought of stepping on a ley line and being transported to this rather later age. I do agree, my soul hasn’t aged, just my body. What a surprise to find ourselves here. You really hit my nail on the head here. My garden is not nearly so lovely but I get to enjoy your photos. Have a super Sunday. I’m behind again. ;(

Had my walk and heading out to water. Sheets are in the dryer, blankets in the washer and linen closets sorted. I will shower before my sister arrives for a short visit and some serious conversation. Like you, I start my day at sunrise or before. At least I see you are trying to take some down time. Not farming is not an option for you two, is it? No harder work in the world, I think.

Terry thinks he wants to try it…I’ll be surprised if he makes it. He has been farming since he was around eight years old and loved every minute of it since.
