It’s terribly cold and rainy here with nasty wind and a sharp chill in the air
The Lilacs are blooming, finally. Although, the wind is too sharp and strong to get any photos of their glory
The old-timers…folks older than myself (LAUGH OUT LOUD), since I am 70 now…
Say all the signs are pointing to a cold and wet summer.
Possibly that is true
Only time will tell.
Still, I marvel at the beauty all around me and give Thanks for the gifts that God has given to us.
From my heart to your world,
Linda

If I could open my eyes each morning to that sight of the sun on the mountains, I’d give thanks and count myself blessed too…

I think we forget, sometimes, then something happens to remind us a ‘turning’ moment so to speak.

Truer words were never spoken than the title of this post. A wet summer would help the water situation in your area, but I hope it isn’t a cold summer. I had enough cold this past winter!

Me too—I’m rather sick of cold, dark and wet

Beautifully said, Linda. All paths do lead back to God. So very true. You have the most amazing skies anywhere, I think. Your flowers are beautiful too. My lilacs just bloomed but my climate is a bit more gentle. It’s cold here in the mornings then warms right up later. I’m expecting a hotter than normal summer but it’s going to have a later start and run later. We shall see. I’m not the fan of heat that you are. ;( Have a delightful day.
