Boomer and I headed to the Upper End, yesterday,
Just enjoying the smiling sunshine
Enjoying the clouds forming over the Uncompaghre Plateau
When I ran into those pesky wasps on the way back (again)
I just had to see
If I could
Or two.
Although, this is blurry (as they all are) the attack in the sky was very dramatic.
That was pretty cool to see!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Blurry or not, the shot of the air attack was pretty amazing.

I think it was pure luck. I just point the camera and snap!

I found those wasp photos super funny for some reason. I was imagining them purposefully photobombing your pictures lol

They probably did 🙂

I think you did a very good job of getting pictures of the wasps in flight (and in fight!). I’m afraid I would be working so hard to get out of the way that I wouldn’t get any photos.

It takes nerves of steel to sit still and snap the camera…just say’n

Wow, amazing shot. Where the wasps attacking each other? You’d have to get a faster camera to catch that action, but it was still an amazing photo

I don’t know. Looked like a fight to me

It’s hard to capture wasps, bees, bumbles, blowflies. They are quick! Wood bees tend to be slower. I don’t want to photograph yellow jackets or hornets. They are MEAN.

They are mean, makes me a tad nervous, but I still try.

I don’t like wasps..and my crochet wasp nests kept them away all summer! Sure hope it works for the Fall too! The sting is so painful! Soft pats to Boomer:)
