The sun just paling the sky
We drove the truck out to the field
Checked the corn shucks to see if any frost was on them
Got a load
Then it was time to open up another area
We are wanting to get done this week
Off to the Elevator
Our skyline is still pretty dazzling (I think)
Then Terry gets in-line and waits and waits. The semi’s take 40 minutes to unload, and the large grain trucks 30 minutes to unload. The wait is usually at least Three Hours.
And I bring him lunch π
We are wanting to get done this week
because another big snow is due on Saturday or Sunday
So there we are.
Back to corn harvest!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Always busy. That’s a lot of chemtrails!

You could almost bring a couple of chairs, a folding table and a cooler of soft drinks and tasty snacks. I bet you’d sell half of what you brought to the other drivers. Hurry up and wait!

I’m sure. Lots of people pack lunches. Terry just called and said there were 30 trucks in front of him today. It’s going to be a push before the predicted huge snowstorm is due in here Saturday.

Iβm happy to hear that you are making progress with the corn harvest in spite of the long wait at the elevator. I hope the snow stays away until after you are finished.

He takes a nap, or talks with the other farmers. I think they all like ‘talking’ the best. π

Mindy, that is the first portrait I’ve seen of you, and you are darling. So glad Dad gets to carry you. Keep up the good work.

Mom picked me up and put me in Dad’s arms. I love being with Dad, but Mom picked me up in mid-jump and I wanted to be jumping. But I stayed there, because, after all, I was with Dad. Mindy

Asking Mother Earth to hold back the storm so you can finish.
That is an awful lot of chemtrailing, just like Emily, above, pointed out.
