We had gusty winds on Monday
Winds rough enough the weeds were jerked loose and flung here and there
The dust was rather eye-filling, to say the least.
Still, the murmuration of the birds was delightful (see the wee sundog in the sky? Colder air on its way to us)
And the joy of the Red-Winged Black Birds fills our sky each and every day.
Their dance is delightful to see so I go out often trying to capture them rippling in the air.
No matter what the wind does. (Scattering weed seed here and there for next year’s crop) 🙂
Bringing in storms
The buffeting wind can, also, scatter clouds giving us sunshine.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
What a beautiful tribute to the wind.

I do like the wind, although, a gale I’m not very fond of. 🙂

You captured the intensity of the sun so much that it is nearly blinding, even on a computer screen. Awesome.

Sometimes I wonder if I should shoot right into the sun, but I do…and I like the result. Thank you, My Dear.
