There is snow all around us… but only rain here.
A wee spell ago
I spied
Some delightful pheasants
Busily searching for food
And always running as fast as they can
away from me! 🙂
It seems to me that nature, and those creatures who live in it, are no different than us.
They hunger, they feel pain, they love.
I so enjoy being part of their lives and sharing them with you in photos.
From my world to your heart!
May you find and experience joy today!
Linda

I read somewhere that the pheasant population was booming everywhere.

Well, ours would if we didn’t have the coyotes.

They are pretty slim this year…the coyotes are rather hard on them.

Thank you for the joy today! I love pheasants! We used to live near a pheasant farm and they would release them all in October and we would have many running around on our land. We would throw out corn for them. Sometimes they would even come and peck at our door! I have a picture of one “guy” at the door…..so cute!

I sometimes think of raising them, but the coyotes are much. I love the idea of a tame pheasant pecking at the door for MORE!! Neat.

Gorgeous birds.
Yes. We need nature. Unfortunately, there are too many on this planet that have no respect for it or the animals.

Just saw our second pheasant of the year a few minutes ago. They have to be introduced here, as they don’t winter over well. Love seeing them!
