The cowboys arrived early
The cows were ready…no real having to round them up or chase them down
They know, they understand, head down the road, to the loading chutes, heading to new pastures
Less than thirty minutes…our girls were gone.
Come Back next year, I yelled! We will be waiting for you!
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
They move them around to different grazing pastures?
I miss them already.

Yes, they move to where there is food. We won’t see them now until next fall.

Well dang, hate it when the cows leave. Nice having them around. Maybe more cranes and geese will stop by. Sorta an even trade…

Yes! The Big birds are thick now, WHICH I LOVE!

Migratory cattle, moving their feeding grounds by season, like geese. How much simpler it would be if they had wings, and could move themselves!

They had run our off food so I’ll bet they wish they had wings. 🙂

Except they were getting hungry so it is good they were able to move to better pastures.
