As the snow fell heavily on the farm

The Sandhill Cranes bunched together –trying to warm their soddened feathers.

I felt a tad sorry for them.

  1. They are amazing birds! I’d live to travel to North Platte to see them. Guess they have organized tours at dawn or night – nahhh.
    Hope you don’t invite them in… 🤷‍♀️

  2. They have food there and that is what they need to make the flight out to Nebraska….I keep seeing North Platte NB as their big landing spot! It would be fun to see them in a group anyplace…we see a few not more than 5 or 6 at a time in the summer…I can only imagine how your flock sounded!!
