I still have not seen Mindy
I will keep looking and calling
Watching for her in the special places she loved
My heart whispers to her
I send prayers to the Heavens asking to know; for
Peace to fill my soul, if she has passed over the Rainbow Bridge
Or to somehow understand
If she is just hiding from me
Has she developed kitty dementia?
Has she had a kitty heart attack and died somewhere
and been carried off by a predator?
My voice calls, my heart whispers, and my soul cries.

The not knowing is the worst. We had a dog when I was a kid that was dognapped and sold for scientific research (a lot of the dogs in our neighborhood suffered the same fate). I remember the walking the alleys, calling, looking, going to the shelters and the dog pound for months until we heard what had happened from a neighbor who lost their dog too. I looked for Butch for years and I still get a catch in my breath when I see a dog that looks like he did. I really hope Mindy comes home or you find out what happened.

It was horrible for the whole neighborhood, more than 40 families lost their dogs.

I hope an owl or coyote didn’t get her. Our cat disappeared for two nights then showed up very traumatized with a triangular gash in her butt. Had to have her stitched back together…probably an owl just missed her. We don’t let her out anymore unless we’re with her.

I know how awful it is, not to know. Your mind comes up with every possible scenario….one worse than the next. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I know that even if she’s out there bouncing with Boomer….you’d like to know. I pray that you’ll have an answer followed by peace in your heart, Linda.

I have 2 cats they are my babies…I hope your cat baby comes home. Have you asked your. Neighbors or the mail man …maybe someone found her and took her in their home to be a inside pet. I feel so sad for you. I had one missing before and found her six weeks later just a few houses down from me..so don’t give up .
