My little flock of Hummingbirds is starting to dwindle
Gradually the feeding at my feeders is becoming less and less
I have gone from 12 feeders
Down to two.
And the reality is, I really only need one. But I keep up two so they don’t have to fight for a spot.
Soon the Swallows will follow. When that happens the Summer birds are all gone.
Sigh!

Beautiful photos! Yes, I think they are leaving a couple weeks early. I have only had one feeder up for several weeks. Still lots of flowers, yet I think there were only four hummers buzzing about today. The pygmy nuthatches are back, as are the junkos. It does seem fall is in thes air ~ Keep those photos coming!

I still have some at my feeder…cannot tell if they are just travelling through or if they have been here all summer. I have to make one last batch of food for them as they seem real hungry just before they all leave;(

The ones I have only want to eat…so I think they are flying through.

Feeding the babies. They do have to fly south for warmth, bless their little birdie hearts. Love those little guys.
