This is the time of year when the earth is warmer than the air
When a lovely foggy mist rises up from the land
Surrounding us in silent glory
The whole earth is blessed in this single moment of silence.
Your friend on a western Colorado farm,
Linda
Around here foggy mornings are always very silent. It’s always a wonderful experience.

I so agree with you. They are rare here, therefore very precious.

In one of my pastures (the Espigão one I frequently write on my blog) there’s frequent fog especially during Winter. I don’t go there much in the morning, but even after lunch when fog comes I sometimes sit on a rock to contemplate the landscape. It’s so peaceful I can’t express it in writing.
