Before our big snowstorm hit
We had three giant limbs trimmed off the trees
They were hanging over the house, making everyone feel very unsafe.
We got all the branches picked up and hauled away but a few—then the storm hit.
With all the wind in this storm it was a good thing to get done.

If you had the wind we did, good call. This storm can quit any ole time! I am tired of winter…

The wind here was horrible, and didn’t stop until midnight last night. Now we are terribly cold 9* at 9:30 in the morning. Stay safe!!!

Good for you! Weeping Willows are just to brittle to trust. Between the wind and wet snow, even my Oak lost branches – and the snow is just now starting to melt so I can get out and see how much damage (to the trees) has been done.

Oh! I’m sorry! We are a long way from melting, 9* right now, but at least it isn’t snowing or the wind isn’t blowing. 🙂

Yes, we are sure they would have come down in this horrible big storm of snow and wind. We feel lucky to have them down in time.

Me too. We think the worst limb would have come down in this huge snow/ice/wind storm. So glad it’s taken down.

It’s so good when you give them a good haircut .. especially when they are near the house! We did that just before the cyclone
