Sometimes I Wish Time Would Stand Still—Sunday, May 5, 2024

There is nothing (to me) more lovely, than the heady, fragrance of Lilacs.  They won’t last long, but as long as they do I am giving thanks for the joy they bring.

And guess what?!?!?  I saw a rainbow….very faint!  BUT still a rainbow.

FIRST of the Season!!

Time…it marches on always.  Giving us fleeting gifts of such happiness;

the expanse of sky, our land, and the beautiful spirits of all!

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

Linda

  1. Chaplin: “Ooh, we see the rainbow too! So pretty!”
    Lulu: “Our Dada says there’s a band he likes called Rush who has an old song called ‘Time Stand Still’ which seems a lot different when he listens to it now than it did when he listened to it 35 years ago.”
    Java Bean: “He also says they had lilacs at his house when he was growing up and he used to take the flowers and suck a little bit of nectar out of them!”
    Charlee: “Wait … does that mean Dada used to be a hummingbird?” *gives Dada narrow look*
