Now we wait for it to dry, then we bale, and off it goes to fill tummies!

Are you just doing hay this summer? Somehow, that seems easier than corn or beans to me. Also, less volatility in the price. All those horses and cows always need to eat.

Yes, we’ve put up 1,000 bales of alfalfa and 500 grass hay. We only have 200 Alfalfa left and 300 grass. Second and Third cutting will bring in the same. We also have corn.

The neighbor baled our field again this year. I wish we could do it ourselves and grow our own hay.
