The early lilacs are blooming! (They made it through all the freezes)
All the Lilacs in our yard were here when we purchased the farm, planted by Terry’s Grandmother and Grandpa
This is a mid-season Lilac; just starting to bloom!
And last but not least, the late-season lilac is in bud, just waiting for the perfect warmth to signal bursting forth!
They are so pretty! It isn’t often we get all three blooming, but this year seems to be a huge shout of Lilac-time!

Yes they are. They were planted around 1924

My parents had lilacs along the driveway of their house in town. I was six when we moved to the farm, but lI still remember the lovely fragrance of those lilacs. Great memories.
