(I wasn’t fast enough)

Sometimes I pray — I’m sure you do too — while I’m working

Sometimes sending up prayers of gratitude when seeing the sun-glossed irrigation water

Or when the sky turns purple and lavender — such a unique sight and color.

When fear and worry cast long shadows in my mind

The longer I live, the more I wish I could undo so many things from my youth.

But I do know God made us, so he knows us. And that is a blessing.

I also know God(s) talks to us, often in our dreams.
