Hold on to this Single Thought—Sunday, December 22, 2024

Even though one might be having a bad day, remember this thought: It’s only a bad day, not a bad life.

One sleep and everything is different the next day!

The Adventures of Boo Berry Betty and TLC Cai-Cai on Friday—-Patrol, Friday, December 20, 2024

These THINGS are here now!

I must look at the farm from a different angle—can’t get out there and get stomped on.

Yes!  They do try to stomp on cats!

Or kick them and watch them fly through the air.

So…nope! No way am I patrolling by the grain bins, the equipment storage area, or the edge of the fields.

Nope, no way.

(Me either!!! Boo Berry)

Why Lose Contact —Thursday, December 19, 2024

Every day we go for a walk.  Never far, never long, but enough to build back strength.

And every day I look for those winged-friends who light up the sky and send songs to our hearts.

And Through It All — Wednesday, December 18, 2024

And no matter—- if one is sick or not.  We have to keep warm!  (And to be honest with you, I think a little physical activity is a good thing—it pushes a body to want to recover—of course, don’t ever overdo it.)

Before the Noise Starts —- Tuesday, December 17, 2024

I love this time of day….just as the sky is starting to lighten—Just before the sunrises

It’s a soft sort of time—(or in the winter a very sharp and cold sort of time)

Then the sun is UP!!!  And the world begins!  🙂

Such a joy!

Take Your Self on a Little Walk —- Monday, December 16, 2024

Watch the sun (or the moon) sweeping delicately from east to west

Lower your eyes to the ground—looking, looking for those beautiful, wonderful kisses from the earth

(from my archives )

Called Heart Rocks.

Finally, I feel well enough to take a wee walk about.  Not a long one, but one that helps bring fresh air, peace, and sunshine to my soul and body.

So forth, enjoy the peace, the calmness, and the beauty outside can bring!

From my world to your heart,

Linda

Winter Routine—Tuesday, December 10, 2024

We have live water on our place, which is a huge gift to the ranchers who winter their cows here.

But live water can also have wee problems:  the cows walk in it and break down the sides in, or it freezes solid.

Terry goes out each day and checks the live water.  Makes the rancher happy, the cows happy and us happy come spring. 🙂
