Getting closer and closer to marking out these two fields and starting water.
We always pre-irrigate before planting.
Terry lets the ground dry down to perfect moisture for sprouting the seed.
Once we get to that perfect moisture it will be time to plant. Usually around Mother’s Day.
Farming season is moving forward in a most satisfying way.

Terry went out to check the plowed fields and guess what?!
It was time to roll them down.
Let this set a day or two, depending on what the soil tells him, and it will be time to level the fields.
Spring work. This are lots of steps in it.
But they are all happy steps!

After the big wind (and it WAS BIG)
We had this!

Crazy wind.
65 mph gusts.
Then the next day we had squalls of snow and wind and grapple.
A rough Spring-time storm, that is for certain and for sure

Winter is trying very hard to linger! But I think this was its final good-bye.
