Here I stand looking into the chilled window as the damp and nasty wind sways the branches of the trees in the yard.
The wee tree lights up the room, therefore, my heart also.
I am so blessed. So very blessed to have my wonderful family, our delightful farm, and the gift of each of your friendships.

We still have some green leaves hanging around here and there. I’ll look one day and they will all be on the ground. It will be sudden…no turning brown—just done! Dropped.
And, of course, there are all the leaves on the ground I need to clean up.
Which probably won’t happen now until March. 🙂
