Unchanging, Endless, Evening Shadows —- Monday, December 20, 2021

The beauty echoes in the heart

The voice of the earth, the sky: old, watchful

A very ancient strength

Immortal power;  the undercurrent of the lifeforce we live in.

From my world to your heart,

Mindy and Boomer Have an Adventure —-Mom Says We Have To Stop, She Gets to Blog Today, Friday, December 20, 2019

Mom says our adventure has to stop.  Just for this week.

She says its not a bad stop it is just because of TOMORROW

You see, it was a long, long, time ago, (December 21—that is tomorrow, but we take off  blogging on Saturday,  so we tell the story today)

In a land far away–(Eckert, Colorado)

On a dark and very cold, snowy night (7 p.m.)

Mom and Dad began

This wondrous journey

Of 52 years!

From our world your hearts,

Boomer, Mindy, Terry, and Linda

A Life Story Started 51 Years Ago —- Thursday, December 20, 2018

On, Friday, December 21, 51 years ago Terry and I were married

But since this coming Friday, December 21, it is Boomer’s day to tell his story;  I’m posting this one day in advance.

Over time as the seasons’ changed so did our hands.  We wear our histories on our hands, it seems.

But that isn’t all, for from those long-ago days of ‘beginnings’ we have added to our lives beautiful souls, who make each and every day a marvel.

From my heart to your world.

When the Shop Cat Becomes a House Cat—–Tuesday, December 20, 2016

It’s terribly cold here.  (Cold is relative I know, but for us 4* at Nine in the morning was terribly cold)

dads-cat-001So Min-Min Lou was asked if she would enjoy spending her time in the house.

dads-cat-002She told us she thought this would be a very good idea.

Therefore, we now have an indoor/outdoor cat.

I told her she can come and go as she pleases!  She thought that was a VERY good thing.

Your friend on a western Colorado farm,

After a Long, Long Night—-Sunday, December 20, 2015

Terry and I helped remove a huge old 1918 stoker an coal furnace yesterday…a four hour intense job.  And a dirty one on top it.

Not wanting to cook we all headed out to eat a small bite of food.  I think that was my un-doing.  I was ever so terribly sick all night long.  Still [just] on the verge of wellness today.

It’s snowing all around us.  But not right here.  It may come in later in the day or blow out, one never knows.

Until then, I think I’m just going to do my ironing and then sit (lay) around the rest of Sunday.

Your friend,
