Head’em Up, Move’em Out — Thursday, January 22, 2025

The rancher, his dogs, and the cowhand showed up about 2:30 pm yesterday

After running all over the farm, the cows came down by the yard to tell me good-bye.

I appreciated it and told them Thank-you, Come again, next year.

Off they went, to the round loading corrals.

Then they loaded up and headed to better pastures!!

Look What the Shrieking Wind Brought —- Sunday, January,11, 2026

A long streak of sunlight, called a Sun Dog.  It filled the snow-filled eastern clouds as the sun started its extremely fast jaunt across the storm-tossed sky!

I keep telling myself —- it is winter.  And it IS January, be patient.  Just enjoy the bitter cold days and nights.  Summer will come—it always does.

The Moon Sliding Across our Winter Sky — Thursday, January 8, 2025

The moon was starting to set in the west when I took this photo.

During the night, it had been sliding in and out of clouds — with a rainbow colored ring around it.

Then, one morning, the sky cleared for a spell.

With the moonlight touching my eyes, heart, and soul.

From my world to your heart,

Linda

ONE MORE!!! —- Sunday, January 4, 2026

This is Black Satin.  Satin for short.  She is very, very timid and very, very sweet.  If I can just catch her, I can get her fixed, and she can live here.

What a mess we have this year.  People are dumping cats like crazy out here.  Our daughter now has 12 cats she has fixed and is feeding.  I’m feeding three (that I know of.) Our other neighbor has about 6 cats.

I hate how people dis-respect their very own animals!!!

There is ALWAYS ONE!!!!, GRRRR —-Wednesday, December 31, 2025

I had to take a photo just for you!  So you can see this naughty girl. She is always and constantly OUT!!!

Sigh!!!

Of course, she jumped the fence, got her hoof caught in it, so we had to rebuild it.

Two more weeks, Terry thinks, and the food will be gone.  Then these girls will go on to something else.

Meet Mr. Hobbs, —- Tuesday, December 30, 2025

Meet Mr. Hobbs!  Someone dumped him off around Christmas.

He is a much older cat than TLC.

It took me a spell to get him, but we have him now.

No, TLC does NOT like him!  Although they don’t fight.  TLC has his nose out of joint and is very mad at me.  I have to work to share my time between all three of them.

It was because of Boo Berry (Mr. Hobbes loves Dogs!) that I got Mr. Hobbes.  But once Mr. Hobbes came into the house, then the Green Jellybean came out in Boo Berry.

Any advice or help you can offer to make this work for all of us would be greatly appreciated.

Our granddaughter in Alaska says she is taking Mr. Hobbs back with her in May.   She adores him. (Maybe he will become an Alaska Air Force Cat!)

Until then, he is ours.

Advice please.

Something Very Different — Sunday, December 28, 2025

This is a first time EVER!!! For Terry and I.  A hockey game!

Our youngest granddaughter’s boyfriend plays hockey.  Tallin and Parker both attend Clifton High School, where Tallin played volleyball and Parker is now playing Hockey.

This is Parker.

We found hockey fast-moving, intense, and very physical!

Go PARKER!!
