COME ON, KIDS!!!
Let’s head out. I want to go for a walk in an amazing
Land of color.
So off we went, Mom, Boo Berry, and I.
Mom was right—the world was pink, and red, and gold….
It was AMAZING!!

The mailman brought me a gift from Genevieve — a sweet heart and a lovely letter.
The letter reads: Hi Linda,
A long time ago, you sent me a stone heart that you had found.
Since that first one, I have found LOTS of hearts — everywhere I go. I keep them in a glass jar and remember that yours was the one that started my eagle-eye good luck.
I’m enclosing one of the hearts that I had made from my sweet Cupcake’s sweater/dress. [She passed away, breaking all our hearts.] I wanted to share one with you, like you shared with me. I’m sure she’d love knowing that a little piece of her HUGE wardrobe was all the way in Colorado with our favorite farmers and farm pets.
From Cupcake’s and My heart to Your world, Genevive
Oh! Dear Genevive! Thank you, thank you so much. I shall keep the letter and the heart always.
Love You.
LOVE ALL of YOU! You make my blogging life so rich and warm. I feel so very blessed.
Linda
The Parade of Lights is always a huge hit. We enjoyed this one ——he was advertising his backhoe business and had filled his bucket with all sorts of candy pieces. When he saw kids, he would drive over and tip the bucket so they could get out the candy.
I just adored their smiling and laughing faces!!!
Over 50 different entries. Amazing for a cold, cold night!
Parade of Lights! So magical and so festive!

We drove up yesterday, onto the Uncompahgre Plateu (just behind us) and the snow was about here—this is from my archives. I forgot to take a photo.
Surrounded by Mountains we are 🙂
