Hanging there in the light blue of the sky, glittering like a HUGE pearl, surrounded by pinks and golds
Was December’s gift to us of a Super Moon. Gradually a deep pinkish gray painted cloud slowly floated over the giant milky glow
Covering that amazing orb.
The pearlized light seemed to whirl out of the air and brush each and everything it touched with brilliant radiance!
From my world to your heart,
The Full December Moon rose so fast I didn’t catch it over the Eastern Horizon, until it was very high in the sky.
But there is was…the setting sun splashing color on the frozen mountains, the mist-filled valley’s picking up a little of the color and that Moon!
That moon touching the rose colored sky; a most solitary, magnificent, sight on ice-cold winds.
From my world to your heart!
It’s been cloudy here. Thick deep clouds. Sometimes they clear and sometimes not. So I have been unable to get a photo of December’s Full Long Night Moon.
The photos used in this post are old full moon photos, so please forgive. If I can get a current one I will post it.
The full moon for December will occur TOMORROW! Even though the clouds have been thick that wonderful, silver/blue light still flickers through, causing me to dance for joy!
You can be sure that Boomer and I will be out walking in the moonlight! 🙂
