A lovely storm cloud rolled in last night, I just had to take photos of it while I was hauling in firewood…
the setting sun made the coming storm a delight to see.
This morning it starting sifting big fluffy flakes down for a short time, leaving us with just a skiff of snow.
The whole experience has been really lovely and the best part is the snow is wet.
However, as I write this it has a melted…giving the earth a nice drink.
Have a good Sunday Everyone!
Linda

That last shot is just glorious, the snow just popping the hollows in the hills.. we are having a really good drink today, rain, rain again! It sounds fantastic beating against the skylights, and those fields are just lying there soaking it up.. I know we still need a lot more but I am so grateful already. you and I feel the same about precipitation. c

Hi LInda — I have just caught up on the whole entire month so far here on the Colorado farm. One good thing about that is I see you are at least recovering somewhat from the nagging illness mentioned in your first post….I am glad you had other people wishing you well, since I wasn’t here to do it. Bummer to be sick. I didn’t want to burden you by leaving a comment on each post, but definitely want you to know that I enjoyed each one very much (and I definitely think you should keep that old building in that one post). Take care — here’s to more blue skies ahead!

LOvely to know that others are getting rain, so it doesn’t feel as though the whole planet is thirsty…we long for rain, as the sun blazes down on dry fields and wilting gardens !
Lovely pics LInda… the peace and the silence must be bliss

Drink is good. We got a skiff of snow on Saturday night as well but it was really dry stuff! We’ll take it though better than nothing.

Beautiful!! We too had just a dusting of snow. But with the high winds it lays in small drifts.
Clark is north of us at school and got hit hard by snow. Not sure what the actual amount was but his car was buried. In the picture he sent you can see a mirror peeking out and the roof line of his car!!!
