Finally we are warming up!
Yesterday, Terry and I went to Grand Junction to so some shopping…Sam’s Club, Whole Foods, Michael’s, Hobby Lobby…all the places I save up for so we can do it in one day.
Terry goes to Home Depot, Sears, Western Implement, Sutherland’s ..it’s a busy big day when we make the trip.
Last night was just lovely
And today even better…we plan on getting rid of all the trash today, changing water (always) and getting a few things done that are restful, not huge.

I remember when our family used to take the trip up to Grand Junction, mainly because that’s where the Green Stamp redemption center was. (We got S&H Green Stamps at City Market.) It was always quite an expedition.

Grand Junction has a Whole Foods now?! Wow! I miss Hobby Lobby. That place was the best.

I’m embarrassed to say how many times I go shopping in a week. You have to be well organized to do it all at once.

It’s great that you got a bit of a break and get off the farm for a few hours. You will soon be tied down with looking after the water.

We do the same thing when we do the trip to Great Falls…..shop ’til we drop almost. I’m glad you’re warming up…..suppose to do the same thing here this next week. I’m ready to find a crocus.

We have a Sutherland’s here, too. We shop there often and are buying our kitchen cabinets there one or two at a time. (When we have the money.)

What a peaceful beautiful picture… we are now recovering from our long months of drought,- nothing since November – we’ve had ten days of intermittent heavy showers, though some places have had heavy flooding – wouldn’t you know it !!!!!

Glad the weather is finally giving you a break and a chance to do some serious shopping. Weather here yesterday was–everything—WIND, snow, hail, rain, sun, showers, passing clouds and so much more wind that there was plenty left over for today.

It makes sense to shop that way even if you live closer…in the long run it saves time and $$ (as long as you have the stamina!)
