Sorry, today I am a tad under-the-weather. I woke-up with a bad headache and a bad arm ache. I can’t seem to shake it.
Even after taking a short nap I’m still a wee knocked out. I hope to get better today. I better, since our Craig kids are coming on Saturday. 🙂
They are coming to take Linkin to church camp for a week and to bring us Blade for the week. It is also Linkin’s 11th birthday. The whole family will only be with us overnight—but I do want to feel well enough to enjoy them.
I plan on being back in good shape tomorrow. After all it’s Friday with Boomer AND I need to bake a gluten-free birthday cake for a special little girl.
Your friend,
Linda

Hope you feeling much better this afternoon. Maybe too much sun??

Maybe, more than likely too many huge weeds. 🙂

|Sorry you are not feeling well. Maybe a trip to the Dr. would be good. Just remember women can have heart attacks. Not always the normal sign . I do not mean to be a party pooper, BUT.
Take care of yourself. Wheat harvest has started here south of Wichita, Ks. at the Oklahoma line. Hope they can get it before any rain. Wheat is suppose to one of the best in 2 years. Please see Dr. if not better. Got to take care of yourself for all the things and people in your life. Later Sharon

YAY for wheat harvest! It’s so wet here we can’t even begin to think of the first cutting of hay. I promise if I’m not better tomorrow I’ll go to the Doctor…thank you Sharon.

i do hope you will be okay. i worry about the ‘arm ache’ as i know that can be a sign of heart attack in women. please, do be aware if you feel nauseous or dizzy or short of breath. i hope it’s just an overdone muscle ache!

Oh, Thank you, Teresa. I think I pulled too many huge, gigantic weeds the other day and it did me in. I will watch for the other signs, though.

I send you healing thoughts for your headache….they can be persistent. I will be thinking of you today. I enjoy your flower garden. We have had record breaking heat wave for a week and the chickens have suffered. Send some of your rain our way. Take care, Linda.

I hope you are feeling better, Linda. I am a major headache sufferer and have been for a very long time so I can relate and empathize fully, The arm ache I’m less familiar with. Did something happen to make it hurt? Are you OK? So sorry, you’re under the weather though. Hope you are back in shape as soon as soon can be.

Headache has dulled to a low persistent pain–Thank Heavens! My arm ache has responded to rest/naps and not doing anything of real import. I’m sure I over did pulling the gigantic weeds. Thank you, Charlotte. I am doing much better.

Your body is trying to tell you something. It’s time to listen! I hope your naps and taking it a little easy for the next day or so will sort it out. And if you need any gluten free recipes, tell me – I do GF baking for a local coffee shop, and all my cooking is GF.

It’s a pain in the backside, but it doesn’t have to be too hard. Every week I bake about 6 items for a local coffee shop: cakes, pies, savouries, slices, etc. It’s satisfying to be able to ensure that other celiacs in the area have something nice to eat with their coffee!

Oh Linda, so sorry to read that you’re under the weather.. hope you can get plenty of rest…
and also drink lots… so often de-hydration causes head-aches…
sweetened water with a drop of stevia or honey takes the liquid straight into the system.
be well soon XXXXX

Linda, did you know that sore arm muscles from overwork are connected to the neck muscles and up over the head….not really headache but head pain big time. Solve the arm pain and your head pain may disappear. Been there, done that…..way too many tall weeds here too and the heat is unbearable but lessening. Thanks for the winds cause we have them…maybe rain ????
